Good care starts with good people.

We built Vet Vision Center around the idea that great care should feel as good as it is effective. That means taking the time to listen, explain, and treat every pet with the same level of attention we’d want for our own.

Our team cares deeply about the animals we see, and about the people who bring them to us. It shows up in the way we communicate, the way we handle each case, and the environment we’ve created from the ground up.

When eye issues start to feel overwhelming, we’re here to make things calmer, more manageable, and easier to navigate.

Our pharmacy: reliable access to the medications your pet needs.

Our in-house pharmacy dispenses many medications right at your visit: no waiting and no second trip, with the accuracy that comes from filling a prescription where your pet is treated.

For compounded medications we partner with Stokes/Epicur, a trusted pharmacy we rely on for quality and consistency, and we can also prescribe through reputable online pharmacies like Chewy, 1800PetMeds, and VetDirectRX when that’s more convenient.

However you refill, choosing VVC supports a small local business — something we truly appreciate.

Specialty eye care,

for every pet.

From the first exam through surgery and recovery, we handle the full range of veterinary eye care: medical treatment for conditions like corneal ulcers, dry eye, and uveitis, plus cataract and glaucoma surgery, advanced diagnostics, breeder certification exams, and resources for pets living with vision loss. Whether you’re navigating a recent diagnosis, partnering with us as a referring vet, or working with us through a rescue, we’ll meet you where you are.

Urgent concerns? We’ll help you be seen quickly.

While we’re not a 24-hour emergency hospital, we understand that eye issues can’t always wait. Our team prioritizes urgent cases and can often schedule appointments within a few days, so you’re not left guessing or waiting longer than you should.

If you’re concerned, reach out.
We’ll help you determine the right next step and get you the care you need as quickly as possible.

From cataracts to cherry eye —
the conditions we treat every day.

Cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, corneal ulcers, cherry eye, entropion. These are the cases that fill our schedule, alongside dozens of less common ones.

If the initial exam and basic testing don’t reveal the cause, we offer extensive advanced diagnostics to find the answer: electroretinography (ERG), ocular ultrasound, an in-house lab for blood testing, and partnerships with IDEXX and other national laboratories for advanced infectious disease testing, biopsies, and pathology.

Whatever’s brought you here, it’s almost certainly something our doctors have diagnosed and treated many times before, and can walk you through with clarity and care.

Our Doctors

Trusted by pets — and the people who love them.

From nervous first visits to life-changing outcomes, we’re proud to care for the pets (and humans) who walk through our doors.

Toby had a visit with Dr. Sara on 7/8/26 for Glaucoma, which was diagnosed by his primary vet a week prior. Our vet tech Gabby spoke with me first to be sure Dr. Sara had all of the information needed prior to seeing Toby. Dr. Sara was kind, knowledgeable, and very thorough in her examination/evaluation and ability to explain what this dog mom needed to know about her baby. I left with all of the information, that I needed to know, printed out. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. It is a great facility, with great people, offering snacks and drinks to those who traveled a distance to get there, in my case 90 minutes. I recommend Vet Vision Center 100% – THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Recently adopted Sean and we had our follow up with Vet Vision Center. They performed his surgeries before we adopted Sean. From the moment Sean arrived through the doors everyone was so happy to see him. The facility is absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing and patient with Sean and made him feel so comfortable during his visit. Although Vet Vision Center is over an hour drive from our home, we’ll continue to take the trip for Sean knowing he’s in great care here. Thank you so much to the whole team here!!

Had a wonderful experience here. Dr. Shelby is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. Great personality and both Raya and I felt extremely comfortable with her. Alyssa was a great assistant as well! Wish Dr. Shelby could be our primary vet and not just for eyes! And we drive over an hour to get there. Totally worth it! Office extremely clean and everyone so nice!

Vet Vision Center was an excellent experience for us. The office is well run, efficient, and staffed by professionals who clearly know their specialty. Explanations were clear and straightforward, and the time taken to discuss options and answer questions was greatly appreciated.

The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made what could have been a stressful visit feel calm and reassuring. It’s obvious that both pets and their owners are treated with real compassion and respect.
